The Last Stand

The Last Stand, It depicts the iconic Hi V Gundam standing victorious amidst the wreckage of its defeated foes. In order to emphasize the strength and power of the Hi V, I decided to combine two Master Grade kits of the ver Ka Hi V. The appealing point of my customization is combining the two backpacks of the Hi V, making a bigger and longer version with double the funnels. Aside from that, I rescribed all the existing panel lines as well as added my own custom panel lines to make it look more detailed. I also enhanced the armor pieces by combining two similar armor parts together. To give a better silhouette, I also did Armor Trimming to expose the inner frame better on some parts. As for the painting, I decided to retain the original colors and instead emphasize it by adding shading to the purple parts. Lastly, I added some of the included waterslide decals from Bandai, to tie the look together.

The Diorama base is made from styrene sheets and a long list of Master Grade Gunpla Kits. The Diorama depicts the defeated and destroyed mobile suits over the years. I combined all my old Gunpla kits to make a battlefield for the Hi V. I did not want to take any attention away from the Hi V so the diorama is painted as a whole, I drybrushed over it all before painting a few select parts of the mobile suits to make it pop out a bit against the soil. Lastly, The remaining funnels are spread all around the Hi V, emohasizing its power.
