Gundam in the Battlefield

Anderson

For this custom build, I combined the sleek and menacing form of the RG Gumdam Epyon with the heavy artilery aesthetic of the Guntank Early Type, aiming to create a unique fusion of elegance and brute force. The concept was inspired by the idea of transforming Epyon from a close combat duelist into a versatile battlefield commander capable of both ranged and melee dominance.

I built a RG Gundam Epyon and customized it using acrylic markers. I also added parts from a Guntank Early Type to make it look stronger and cooler. I used red, black, gold and silver markers to paint different areas. I painted the wings with bright red to make them stand out more and added black to give it a more serious look. I used silver on the joints and parts of the arms and legs to make them look like real metal. The chest and head have some gold details to make them look like they have power. I also painted some panel lines using a fine tip black marker to make the details pop out. I was careful paint so I didn't lose the details.

Overall, this build was an exploration of hybrid warfare aesthetics that blending mobility, firepower and the elegance of the original Epyon design into a fresh new form.

This is my first time customizing a Gunpla and I had a lot of fun using the markers. It was hard to keep my hands steady sometimes, but I think it turned out awesome. I learned how to mix colours and layer paint without making it messy. I also learned that it is important to let the paint dry before touching it again. I am really happyimpress how it looks and want to make more custom Gundam in the future!
