The Shape of Dream
Ryne Bunn
The inspiration for this piece is to tell the story of how a little girls dream takes shape. To show that 'beauty has its own strength' and dreams are meant to eventually come true. In the land of fairies and fantasy, even you will bloom beautifully. In the midst of all the cool mechanically detailed mobile suits, I would like to create an element of fantasy to remind people that it's okay to let your imagination be free.
Extensive seamline removal works on all three HG Farsia. Since the HG Farsia is an older kit, they have very visible seamlines in areas that I think needs to be smooth in order to showcase its clean curves and silhouette better.
Scratch building each wings by using Pla-Plates. I create dimension into the wings through scribing and stacking of Pla-Plates. Which later was further accentuated through painting.
Kit bash was done with the addition of HG Kshatriya wing binders to create the flower base and HG Michaelis arm.
For the painting, I use shading techniques, to further enhance the mobile suits shape and add depth. A mix of pastel and bold colors were also used to balance. For smaller flower funnel, candytone technique is used to create accent.
Diorama was made from a scratch with foam and landscaping was also added to create ambience of the scene.
